I went to Niconico Chokaigi 2018 this year as well. For people who don’t know about Niconico Chokaigi, here is the details of the event.
Niconico Chokaigi, held by Japan’s largest social video website “Niconico”, is an annual festival which concept is to recreate Niconico’s virtual world in real life. This unique festival is the melting pot of Japan’s internet culture, where people of all ages can get together in real life and enjoy face-to-face communication.

Domino Pizza must be famous in US because it’s originally from US. Domino Pizza Japan has had a lot of interesting marketing campaigns which seem to focus on Otaku (geek) market. They have collaborated with Tiger & Bunny, Star Wars and finally Hatsune Miku!!

1. You can order Domino Pizza by GPS! Miku-icon stands up your place on the map.
2. Original Hatsune Miku Vocaloid songs let you know when your pizza delivers.
3. You can take a picture with Miku 🙂
4. You can see Miku’s dancing when you see your pizza box by your mobile.
Another interesting thing is that the discount rate is 39% (3 is ‘mi’ and 9 is ‘ku’ in Japanese).
Unfortunately the Miku campaign is only available in Japan, but you may try to download the APP on your phone although you cannot order from outside of Japan!! Let me know how it works.
