Manga Attack on Titan gets 1st on comic ranking in US

Attack on Titan (進撃の巨人) is very popular in Japan. Now the boom of the comic goes into US market as well. The Manga comic of Attack on Titan has got 1st position on 2nd week of October on a comic ranking in U.S..

According to an article from niconico news, girls and boys comics like Naruto and Sailor Moon has ever got the top position, but it’s very rare to get the 1st like Attack on Titan. I heard that you cannot stop reading it once you start the Attack on Titan. I’ve not read it yet, but it’s so popular both Manga and Anime in Japan. They have a plan to publish some spin-off manga in summer 2014.

World CosPlay Summit Official Photo Book 2013

WCS photo book is published just a few weeks ago in Japan! It seems available on Amazon.com, but not sure. Although everything is written in Japanese, you could enjoy the pics. The book is 1,800 JPY (13.5 eur /18.4 USD).

Itasha (痛車), literally “painful car”, is a Japanese term for an otaku fad of individuals decorating the bodies of their cars with fictional characters of anime, manga, or video games (especially bishōjo game or eroge). These characters are predominately “cute” female. The decorations usually involve paint schemes and stickers. Automobiles are called itasha, while similar motorcycles and bicycles are called itansha (痛単車) and itachari (痛チャリ), respectively.

I think Itasya is an art. They are very beautiful paintings. You can see the details of Itasya when you click the images. I imagine how much time they spent to paint the card and love the car.

Dream Party Tokyo – Venues

On Sunday, I joined a Cosplay event which is called ‘Dream Party‘. The event is mainly for people who love porn and girls game. If you like those types of games, you would enjoy it. Unfortunately the details of the event is only in Japanese. I saw many people when I went there a few years ago, but it was not so crowded this year that I could take many photos.
