The scenes of Paris Manga 2013
Posted on: 2013/02/13
My friend took some photos by her mobile. Although the quality of picture is not good, I just wanted to share some scenes in Pars Manga 2013.
We found Paris Manga posters at some metro stations.

A lot of people were looking at Anime posters. Are they one of the popular goods for these Anime events? In Japan, we can see a lot of Anime figures shops, but here it was very rare. It seems that they are interested in paper goods rather than figures.

There was a long queue in front of Print Club (we call “purikura” in Japanese). If you have not tried it out, you should take your pictures in purikura. You’ll be 100-200% more beautiful than usual yours:).

Kimono shops seemed to be popular at those events. They are not actual Japanese Kimono, but they are pretty unique and convenient to wear.

Again, Atsu-Atsu! I saw the shops at Japan Expo in Paris as well. There is a long-long queue to buy Takoyaki and Yakisoba.

Those are some scenes at the venue.

Hope you enjoyed the pictures to feel the Paris Manga event!!

It’s interesting that Parisians like paper goods more than figures..that’s certainly different from where I come from =D

Dear 赤信号
I assume that figures are not so available in France. When my friend visited some Anime shops in Paris, she said most of figures simply are imported from Japan, not domestic. The figure market should be huge in France, but less availability, I think.
